Preparing to Work from Home

Although working from home may sound ideal - no more delayed trains or rush hour traffic - it's not for everyone. It can be lonely, and you may find yourself struggling to find a suitable place to set up in.
If you decide to use your home for work, whether it's the kind of work you already do for someone else, or a new business idea that may involve others, you need to prepare thoroughly. You'll need to do some basic forward planning make sure that that your finances are in place and that you have a high enough demand for whatever product, service, or skills you hope to sell. Once you have all the basics in place then you'll then need to find an appropriate space in your home to set up your office.
