The key to making a painting job easy is to start off with the right equipment. Trying to make do with minimal or unsuitable equipment is false economy - it will be harder to do the job well, and the chances are that part way through the work you'll end up having to get the tools you really need, so you might as well have them at the outset. However, this doesn't always mean you have to buy the most expensive tools available.
